About WEBPilot
Updated:
WEBPilot is a website traffic monitoring platform with one idea at its center: numbers are only useful when you know what happened around them.
Why we are building it
Anyone who has looked after a website for a while knows the routine. Traffic goes up or down, someone asks why, and the answer depends on who remembers what. Was there a new campaign? Did the developer change the page titles? Did the blog stop publishing for a month?
Analytics tools are very good at counting visits. They are not built to remember the decisions that people made. That information usually ends up scattered across e-mails, chat messages and spreadsheets, and it gets lost when someone changes jobs or an agency changes clients.
WEBPilot puts both things in the same place: where the traffic comes from, and a dated record of what was done on each website.
What we believe
Clear over complete. A report that a business owner can read in two minutes is worth more than one that only a specialist can use.
Honest numbers. We don't publish invented statistics, testimonials or customer counts. When a feature is not ready, the site says so.
Privacy by design. The future tracking script is being designed to collect as little personal data as possible and to respect consent choices where the law requires them.
One account, many websites. Agencies, freelancers and companies with several brands should not need a separate login for each site.
Where we are today
WEBPilot is in early access. Today you can create an account, register your websites, get a tracking ID for each one and keep a strategy timeline. Visitor data collection, real-time monitoring, traffic sources and reports are being built and will be released in stages. The features page shows the status of each part.
Languages
WEBPilot is published in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Each version is written for its readers rather than translated word for word.
